Susan Boyle you're an extremely courageous woman. At 47, you stand before an audience who is readily laughing at you and your dreams. And yet they all stop laughing the moment you sing your song. All they hear is an angelic voice coming out of the mouth of the most unangel-like, plain Jane, fat middle aged woman with bushy eyebrows.

For those of you who haven't seen this video clip, you'd better view it now. And then we have to ask ourselves: why do we have tears in our eyes every time we view this clip?

We have a lot of growing up to do and we owe an apology to all the Susan Boyles in the world! We shouldn't have judged a book by its cover! We are deeply sorry.
